On several locations in Romania occurring phenomena maiscarea major risk derived from the masses of land and flooding. One of the most exposed areas is where the maritime Danube Galati drains and rivers Prut and Siret. At the request of local and national authorities were performed works monitoring field trials (inclinometers pressure, drilling, prelevarfe evidence lithological etc.), laboratory measurements, development of computational models based on formalism Euler Lagrange and surveillance satellite method In .SAR. Their research led to the development of strategies for prevention and intervention in case of major risk events through collaboration between local authorities and specialists in minimizing ecological crises. |
