Rezumat

The Customs Service, being often perceived as a revenue collector, assumes the function of the guardian of the security and safety of international trade. In the process of the fulfilment of these functions, the Customs Service functions so as to meet the expectations of economic agents. Economic agents involved in legal business activities expect from the customs authorities the combating of black economy in the trade of illegal goods, on the one hand, and reduction of control measures, on the other hand, because they affect negatively the time and the costs of business development. The catalog of solutions that facilitate customs procedures was significantly expanded in recent years within the EU.
