Rezumat

Creativity always was one of the most important stimuli for development of children. In this research was done a try to characterize the process of formation of pupils’ creative abilities in a circle of local history studies. The purpose was to reveal the basic level of information work in a circle, stages and problems of this work and its advantages. The article describes the main achievements of the circle of local history “My white city” which was formed on the basis of lyceum “Petru Movilă” (Kishinev). Work in the circle promotes development of pupils’ creativity and an independent way of thinking. Undoubtedly the local history studies are a necessary condition for formation of respect and love to a local and national heritage in a universal context.
