| Rezumat | ||||||
The longevity and the level of the specifi c immunity against hepatitis B virus infection, as well as the prevalence of subclinical infection was assessed based on a probabilistic national sample of 620 children from 30 villages of the country, that have completed the primary vaccination against hepatitis B virus during their fi rst year of life, 6-11 years ago. Following the provision of a booster dose, it was proved the presence of the immunologic memory among children lacking a protective level of HB antibodies. |
