Rezumat

The author talks about the influence that a exerts on people in the making. This influence can be seen as marking the development of an entire existence. No other profession requires from its owner as much competence, dedication and humanism as from the educator, because no other one is working with a material more precious, more complicated and more sensitive than the man in the making. The teacher instructs, educates, calls, directs, organizes, cultivates, corrects, continually refines and evaluates the training and perfectioning of human qualities needed in the future. The author tries to highlight a number of personal qualities the educator needs to develop through appropriate professional experience and education.
