The present material aims to elucidate the history of the Armenian ethno-confessional community in Bessarabia from the 60s of the 19th century until the beginning of the First World War. First of all, the leaders of this diocese and their work will be considered, but at the same time the line of Tsarist administration policy towards this confessional minority in this area will be pursued throughout the period under investigation. Nor will any other aspects of the life of this community be overlooked, such as education, the activity of founders, or certain dates referring to parishes. |
