It is difficult to talk about any influence of music on the children’s and adolescents’ spiritual world, if they haven’t learned to listen to music as a meaningful art that carries the feelings and thoughts of a man, the ideas and images of life. The revelation of the artistic image of a musical work is a necessary condition for a bright, emotional perfor- mance of the work. The article discusses some techniques aimed at developing children creative thinking, imagination and other skills that reveal the artistic content of music.
