Rezumat | |
In the paper current state of the progress on curricula and syllabi development for joint multidisciplinary MSc BME Study Program in Georgia is described. The work is carried out by the Georgian Working Group within the TEMPUS IV BME-ENA Project “Biomedical Engineering Education Tempus Initiative in Eastern Neighbouring Area”, realized in years 2013-2016. The MSc BME program has been prepared jointly by three Georgian universities: Akaki Tsereteli State University (ATSU), Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) and Georgian Technical University (GTU), with support of academic teachers from partner EU universities, mainly the West Pomeranian University of Technology (ZUT-WPUT), Szczecin, Poland. In the paper problems related to the project design and implementation are discussed (structure of the program, accreditation issues, preparation of teaching material). Results of three meetings of the GE WG which were held in Szczecin, Brussels and Tbilisi are presented. Sustainability activities carried out by the GE WG are also described: application for the ERASMUS+ credit mobility project coordinated by the West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin. |
