Rezumat

In the present scientific communication is reported about the fact that the volume of the underground waters in the Republic of Moldova are limited and are up to one billion of cubic meters. The investigations realised by the hydrochemists from the Academy of Sciences and from the Ministry of Health put into evidence the quality of the underground water. Unfortunately, the scientific results prove that approximately 50% of the underground waters doesn’t correspond to the quality indices imposed by the drinkable water. It contains increased quantities of fluoride ions, sulfides, ammonia, nitrates, nitrites, iron, manganese, strontium, hydrogen sulphide, ammonia, methane etc. During the last 20 years the researches from the Institute of Chemistry have realised scientific investigations that concerns the ellaboration of the processes of treating of underground waters. Have been realised and patented the following oxidative, adsorbtional and catalytic processes of potabilisation of underground waters: - Process of obtaining of carbonic adsorbants from local regenerable raw material (peach, apricots, plums pips, nut shells, grape seeds); - Process of obtaining of oxidative active carbons and of carbonic catalysts; - Process of aeration and oxidation of sulfides and of the hydrogen sulfides from underground waters; - Process of removing of iron and bivalent manganese ions from deep waters - Process of treating of underground waters from ammonia ions and ammonia from underground waters - Process of decreasing of strontium ions from deep waters. The processes previously listed have been verified in practice at pilot installations in different localities of the Republic of Moldova and have proved an obvious efficiency in the potabilisation processes of the underground waters.
