Officially, people get married once and for all, but there may appear some situations that will determine the need of divorce. The Moldovan Republic’s legislation regulates several ways of divorce and the competent authorities, which are invested with these prerogatives, the Court and the Civil Status Offices. In this paper we aim to realize a theoretical analysis of divorce operated by the Civil Status Offices at the request of both spouses or at the request of one of them, in case of proof of the circumstances provided by law. |
