The article presents an evolution of central public administration reform in the education sector and elucidates a series of issues and causes that generate these issues within the educational system that have not yet been resolved. Presenting and implementing the solutions in relation to the effects but not solving the causes that will generate them will make the Moldovan education system unattractive and will inevitably lead to the decrease of the quality of the studies, the decrease of the number of graduates, the migration of the teachers, the optimization of the educational institutions, etc. The Republic of Moldova does not even enter in the Top 50the best educational systems in the world, an indicator demonstrating that in this chapter we have to work hard and education reforms must be correlated with the main strategies of the country.
