In this paper we present the development of a system with autonomous power source for trolleybuses. These newly developed rechargeable batteries powered system are supposed to allow a trolleybus to move away from grid lines for significant distances. Here we present the energy consumption measurements for a trolleybus’ on a route during one day. According to these measurements, the power rechargeable batteries chemistry will be chosen, and an efficient and reliable electric system will be developed. |
