| Rezumat | ||||||
This study presents a surgical guidance for otitis media in the case of tumor formations and polyps atthislevel. Here are presented the surgical techniques with correct approach at this level for dogs and cats. The observations were made on a number of 18 dogs and 9 cats of different breeds and ages supposed to surgical interventions .The surgical intervention consisted in removing the auricular conduct and lateral osteotomy of the tympanic bule in dogs’ cases and ventral osteotomy of tympanic bule in cats’ cases. The evolution and healingin operated cases were different from subject to subject depending on the damaged egree of the tympanic bule. In that wayin the majorityof cases we sawa healing after 20-30 days post surgery, and it was necessary a local daily treatment and for 5-7 days a general post surgery treatment with antibiotics.
