The study presents a stage of the results of recent research carried out on theterritory of the Codrii Reserve. Several and various scientific researches have been carried out here in order to highlight the diversity and preservation of the nature of a representative mass if of the Central Plateau Forests of Moldova.The soil cover, presented by two zone types - brown and gray is characteristic of the Central Plateau. The work was done on the basis of the materials obtained from the study of the pedogenetic factors, the laboratory works on the physical, physico-chemical properties and the moisture regime of the soils. The paper analyzes statistical data and literature. The main aim of the study is to highlight the influence of the humidity and temperatur eregime on the health of the Central Forests.
