There are near 20 Trypillia Culture BI-II sites at the Kyiv Region. This period is relatively little studied  here, compared with other phases, such as BII, CI or CII. The site of Kolomyitsiv Yar near the village of Kopachov (Kyiv Region, Obukhiv District) is not far from Trypillia. The archaeological expedition organized by the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University (Ukraine) in cooperation with the Human Development in Landscapes Graduate  School of the Christian-Albrechts-Universität (Kiel, Germany) started investigations at this site in 2016. For the  fi rst time for this kind of sites the magnetic prospection was done, which discovered on 3 ha area anomalies of 19  houses and 5 pits. Houses were located in three rows along the stream on slopes of the valley. At the area close to  a  fi eld remains of two pits were explored. They probably related to houses destroyed some time before. Among the  fi nds from this pits numerous fragments of pottery, bones, stones, and a small amount of burnt daub were found.  The pottery (“kitchen ware” or Cucuteni C type, painted, with incised decoration and without decoration) is typical  for BI-II phase in this region. It is possible to date this site up to the last quarter of the 5 th mill. BC. These materials  make it possible to expand our knowledge of settlements of this time in the Middle Dnieper, the time and the ways  of Trypillia population appearance here, and their relations with other cultures  

În limitele actuale ale regiunii Kiev în prezent sunt cunoscute mai mult de dou ă zeci de monumente din  etapa BI-II. A ş ez ă rile din aceast ă perioad ă , în compara ţ ie cu cele de mai târziu – etapele BII, CI  ş i CII, pot  fi atribuite celor mai pu ţ in studiate în aceast ă partea a teritoriului tripolian. A ş ezarea de la Kolomyitsiv Yar din apropierea  satului Kopa č ev, raionul Obuhov, regiunea Kiev este unul dintre cele mai estice din acest ă regiune,  fi ind situat în  zona sitului eponim de lâng ă localitatea Tripolie. În anul 2016, expedi ţ ia Laboratorului de cercetari  ş tiin ţ i fi ce în  domeniul arheologiei de la Universitatea „Boris Grin č enko” (Kiev), în colaborare cu Graduate School „Human Development in Landscapes” de la Universitatea Christian-Albrechts (Kiel, Germania), a început s ă p ă turile în cadrul  acestui sit. În premier ă pentru monumentele de acest tip ( ş i din aceast ă perioad ă ), cu ajutorul prospec ţ iunilor  geomagnetice a fost posibil ă ob ţ inerea planului unei p ă r ţ i a a ş ez ă rii. Au fost descoperite vestigiile a 19 construc ţ ii  de suprafa ţă , situate în trei rânduri de-a lungul pantei v ă ii unui râule ţ . Al ă turi de unele dintre aceste construc ţ ii  au fost identi fi cate anomalii, care reprezint ă , probabil, conturul unor gropi. În urma investiga ţ iilor arheologice  au fost descoperite dou ă gropi în a c ă ror umplutur ă au fost identi fi cate fragmente de ceramic ă , oase de animale  ş i  buc ăţ i de lut ars. Lotul de ceramic ă (grosier ă , de „buc ă t ă rie”, cu „perle”  ş i decorat ă cu impresiuni „cu pieptenele”,  ş i  fi n ă – pictat ă (monocrom  ş i bicrom), cu ornament adâncit prin netezire, sau f ă r ă ornament) permite încadrarea  monumentului în etapa BI-II  ş i datarea acestuia cu ultimul sfert al mileniului V a.
