Rezumat

During the period of the years 2000 up to 2008 field Trichogramma was collected in different areas of R. Moldova. The collected species of Trichogramma were identified and reproduced for eventual researches. The most frequent species of Trichogramma found in the fields of R. Moldova were: T. evanescens Westw., T. pintoi Voeg., T .еmbryophagum=telengae Sor., T. dendrolimi Mats.(=cacoeciae Martsh., T. mirabile Djur., T. semblidis Auriv., T. leucaniae Pang. and Chen. Of these, the dominant species is T. evanescens (16,7 – 86,0 %), and T. embryophagum (=T. telengai) – 60,0 – 88,9%.Entomophage Trichogramma spp. is one of the most important biological agents which may be used against a complex of pests both in biological control, and in the system of integrated plant protection. Usage of the Sitotroga Cerealella’s O. previously irradiated eggs, as the host eggs raises Trichogramma biological indices by 2 or 3 times along with an increase in field efficiency by 10-15%. During the 2000-2010 biological efficacy of T. evanescens with improved qualities on 2376 ha fields, varied from 74,0 to 91,8% in 1st variant and from 60,0 to 81,0% in the 2nd variant. Due to higher biological efficiency we consecutively get a lower plant damage index.
