Rezumat

The current edition of our magazine is dedicated to issues of rural schools. In the column Curriculum Vitae are presented The Secondary School in Brinzeni, Edinet and Gymnasium in Zberoaia, Ungheni. These educational institutions partake of the Project School Assessment, initiated by educational Center Pro Didactica and intending to implement a new model of school improvement. The column Quo vadis? begins with the article written by M. Paiu, Educational System in Republic of Moldova: current situation and expectations. In addition to conversant presentation of educational situation in Moldova for the main, offering also solutions for amelioration, the author is referring tangential to the problems wherewith rural schools are confronting. In her article, Community Development - an impetuous demand of our time, T. Socolov presents many possibilities for working together with financial institutions, with benefits also for schools from villages that are part in these projects. Small Rural School in transition, by V. Chicu, brings up specific problems of these kind of educational institutions. In his article, D. Ivanov, presents difficulties that faces schools in the beginning of the new school year and Gr. Melnic, in his material, Lyceums in structural changes of education, speak well for re-formation of secondary schools and foundation of classic lyceums. D. Andreev notices the importance of school libraries in educational processes. In the column Retrospective pedagogice, G. Cristea from Spiru Haret University in Bucharest, in the article Spiru Haret - the representative of social pedagogy, presents the contribution of this in development of Romanian education. The column Vademecum Psihologic begins with the article School Anxiety - o problem of civic education, by S. Mitrofan, that presents the possibilities for outrunning this anxiety in order to improve civic education with reference to rural schools. Also here, N. Stan, in his article The temperament - the dynamic and power aspect ofpersonality, shows us the importance for teacher to know the temperament of student in order to provide an efficient educational process. In the column Docendo Discimus, R. Copaceanu in his material, Applications of project method in mathematics, brings up a model offulfillment of this method in Lyceum. V. Babii and T. Bularga are the authors of article Musical development of pre-school children, where the readers could find the methods for musical diagnosis and some recommendations for rising the musical creativity of children in this age. The column Dezvoltarea gindirii critice (accomplished with the support of IRA International Reading Association) begins with presentation of scientific conference of teachers that are implementing the RWCT strategies in university. The magazine issues two materials from this meeting: New measures in didactic process in university, by L. Handrabura, and Didactic Communication, the general objective of teaching RWCT strategies in university, written by O. Cosovan and T. Cartaleanu. In the first article is invoked the demand for wide application of RWCT project in universities as a connection condition of high education at the requirements of contemporary society. In the second article the authors propose an analytic schedule.
