У статті розглядається досвід європейських держав, зокрема Польщі, Італії та Іспанії, щодо конституювання принципів територіального устрою. Здійснюється порівняльний аналіз українського й іноземного законодавства з окресленого питання, що дає змогу визначення певних рекомендацій для вдосконалення національного законодавства. Акцент робиться на закріпленні децентралізаційних явищ у конституціях європейських держав.

The experience of the European countries as for the institutionalization of principles of the territorial organization on the example of Poland, Italy and Spain is considered in the article. The comparative analysis of the Ukrainian and foreign legislation on the defined scientific issue is implemented; this allows to outline certain recommendations for improving the national legislation. The emphasis is made on consolidating of decentralization events in the constitutions of the European countries.
