<description xml:lang='en' descriptionType='Abstract'>The study is approaching the issue of contribution of Moldavia and Romanian Country to serving and supplying the Russian army during the Russian military occupation in 1806-1812 with food supplies, transportation and communications, labor, construction materials for repairing and strengthening the cities, building bridges over rivers and warehouses for supplies, accommodation and feeding the Russian soldiers in the houses of the residents of the Principalities
during the cold season. There is statistical information presented regarding the requisition, ordinary and extraordinary taxes, the taxes imposed by the Russian military administration to the locals, the amounts of money paid by the Divans for the portion of meat and wine and maintenance of military hospitals, etc.</description>
