The present article reflects the problem of the valorization of translation in the process of European integration. In the course of the centuries translation as one of the most important linguistic tools played a fundamental role in the diffusion of knowledge and new ideas. In the European cultural universe translation is the connection bridge among different languages and cultures. In the context of europeanization and globalization the communication and the exchange of information played an important role. The translation constituted the principal means of the interactive awareness of all the implied factors in the process of European integration. The development of translation as the main activity of foreign languages learning and of communication of the European people as well as the quality of key-instrument of diffusion of the new knowledge and ideas will allow the Republic of Moldova to promote its national identity and integration in the European Union.
