This paper contains the results of the research related to creative using of the ornamental motifs found on Cucuteni painted pottery. It is respected the original colors scheme: white, black, dark orange and reddish brown, but not more than three colors in the same decorative pattern. It is shortly explained the design procedure for woven fabrics type wool obtained by manual weaving on vertical loom, an old technique for creating tapestries. From the total number of 20 final projects, in this paper there are shown only a few because of the limitations imposed by the publication format. We mention that all thick woven’s are designed for interior decorations. These products enrich any public or private space, being possible to be realized at various sizes and shapes, depending on customers’ requirements.
