The given work paper is dedicated to the fiscal reform of Romania, a reform concerning the intention of integration of Romania in European Union. One of most relevant action of Romanian Government in the frame of fiscal reform was the change from the progressive taxation of personal income to the flat tax rate and the cutting of corporate tax rate from 25% to 16%. These changes have imposed other changes (the increase of tax rates) in the fiscal system. |
