Rezumat

The adsorption properties of natural mineral adsorbents of Republic Moldova - diatomit, tripolit and bentonite in relation to humic substances are investigated, the aim being usage of sorbents for practical purposes, in particular for optimization of technologies of water treating. It was established that the investigated sorbents have good physicochemical properties and have real possibilities for usage in technologies of water treating. The sorption of humic acids on the surface of bentonite in the presence of Al 3+ or Fe3+ ions increases twice comparing with adsorption from individual solutions. The improved scheme for water treating including the stage of coagulation of dispersed impurities by coagulant aluminium sulphate in the presence of bentonite was proposed, which allows to improve organoleptic indexes of drinking water, to intensify sorption of humic substances, and to reduce the risk of derivation of halogen-methanes at the stage of water chlorination.
