Antonyms have long been the subject of deep linguistic analysis. A characteristic feature of modern studies is the growing interest in antonym problems, which have attracted the attention of a wide range of researchers in lexical semantics. Recently, many valuable studies have appeared on the study of general and special issues of antonym. The article is devoted to the process of antonym in impersonal verbs in modern Russian. First, how the process of antonym is of interest for linguistic analysis and interpretation, their semantic, grammatical and structures, their relationship with processes such as polysemy, synonymy, paradigmatic aspect, etc. is discussed. Then the antonymic features of all forms and types of impersonal verbs are analyzed and confirmed with relevant examples from lexicographic sources.
