Rezumat

Descriptive geometry is part of the general engineering disciplines that are taught in educational institutions with technical profile and prepares students for technical design. The aim of this discipline is to form a spatial imagination, embed precision and accuracy in the future engineers and technicians. For students, descriptive geometry is a new subject compared to the ones previously studied. Without specific training, planar objects are perceived with more difficulty in space, and harder still is to solve tasks related to determining the real measurements, intersection lines etc. Study materials that are currently available do not present the solution to a problem on a step by step basis, therefore, presented algorithms during lessons lead towards a better assimilation of the studied material. During practical lessons, the students are resolving tasks in the classroom; they also receive a task for individual work, however there are many instances when the students have difficulty with completing them due to lack of attention and time. The IT resources available contributed towards creating studies that combine the traditional text books with the digital educational materials. These resources can be accessed via a QR code which directs the student towards the videos that have the algorithm and explanations of the tasks with graphic requirements.
