The park from Mîndîc. The park, which is a branch of the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History of Moldova and a monument of landscape architecture, is situated in the vicinity of the Myndyk Village not far from the road to the old Soroca fortress. The park, with the country estate, was founded in 1896 by landowner Ohanowicz, a Polish noblemen. It occupies a territory of 16.4 ha and represents a marvelous combination of natural and cultural heritage. In 1993 it was
included in the list of monuments protected by the state. |
