Rezumat

Mercury pollution of the Dubossary Reservoir in the Dniester River was studied with the use of bioindicators (higher aquatic plants, epiphyte suspension, Xanthoria parietina lichen). The maximum mercury concentration in bioindicators is recorded in the zone near the Rezinsko-Rybnitskii Complex, which incorporates two large cement works and a metallurgical plant.
