In this article, we offer a brief description that underlines the main emotional resources and related challenges characteristic of older adults, starting from the fact that statistics during the pandemic revealed that older adults were more resilient, compared to representatives of other ages. We will also discuss some of the elements of mental changes, integrating the bio-psycho-socio-behavioral peculiarities specific to elderly adults. The life of a human being consists of successive, welldefined stages, with psycho-biological characteristics, which prepare the person's transition from one age stage of life to another. |
