Rezumat | ||||||
The thermal stimulation of cooperative two-photon decay in a microcavity was investigated. The presence of small number of thermalized photons in the microcavity mode stimulate the cooperative generation rate of the coherent entangled photon pairs. It was found that in each decay event, photons were generated in pairs and the emission intensity became proportional to N2 but at low temperatures and for large numbers of atoms, photon superbunching took place. |
