The inventory of those included in the dowry sheet sheds light in the presentation of the details related to the daily life of the inhabitants of Moldova, but also some moments in their spiritual life. The objects mentioned in the dowry sheet allow us to reconstruct the habits and way of eating of the family, details about the interior of the houses, details of the clothing, the prices of the researched period, new customs, etc. At the same time, the dowry sheet is an example of taking some words from other languages to designate certain objects, thus making the external influence, especially the Turkish one, even more visible. |
