Rezumat

In the autumn of 2022, photos of a ‘Pomeranian brooch’ were published on a website belonging to illegal archaeologists in Ukraine. As stated on the website, the brooch was discovered in Kamenez-Podolsk. The piece belongs to the II type of the so-called ‘Pomeranian fibula’, according to H.-J. Eggers. Analogues of such brooches are almost exclusively found in northern Mecklenburg, Western Pomerania, and on the island of Rügen. Additionally, two ‘Pomeranian brooches’ have been found on the territory of Romania. Chronologically, these finds should be dated to the LT C2 and LT D1 stages.
