Rezumat

The heterovalent trinuclear oxo bridged compound [Fe2 III FeIIO(CF3COO)6(OPPh3)3] was characterised by IR and Moessbauer spectral analysis. Cyclic voltammetric study at stationary platinum electrode was performed in dimethylsulfoxide with 0.1 M tetrabutylammoniumperchlorate as supporting electrolyte. The voltammograms recorded in the potential range +0.2 to -1.6 V exhibit four reduction waves (only the first one is reversible). The electrochemical standard rate constant of the reversible charge transfer step was established.
