Rezumat

Solutions for optical cross-border gateways implementation that is devoted to creation of high performance, reliable and effective connection between national scientific - educational networks in the region of the Eastern Europe are described. Created and proposed for implementation connections are used for integration of regional research and educational users' community to Trans-European academic infrastructure GEANT. Creation of the optical gateways oriented on improving of regional eInfrasructure operation that is deploying now in Moldova, Romania, Ukraine and other Eastern Europe countries. Approaches of new connections creation are focused on realization of Cross-Border Fiber (CBF) links that allow increasing quality of regional e-Infrastructures operation. Proposed for creation new optical gateways will ensure effective solution for integration of Eastern Europe NRENs to the Trans-European informational infrastructure and will improve access to the wide range of services available for GEANT network users.
