The purpose of the article is: Based on international experience, to determine the type of activity and typological features of Chisinau’s museums, to analyse the collected information on Chisinau and superimpose it on the generally accepted classification. Scientific task: To briefly describe and determine which buildings are used as museums, to compile their register with indications of functional features, to determine which buildings have been adapted and which were originally built as museums, as well as to provide brief historical information about the museums from the city of Chisinau. The work uses various types of classification and search for a non-standard approach to the problem. As a result of this work: The author will create a touristic map of Chisinau on which will be applied in accordance with the classification made, marks of the museums. The collected information will be the basis for the portal with web tours.
