The scope of the researches of the university professor Teodor N. Țîrdea marked the domestic and foreign philosophical thinking in the last decades. Moreover, he offered various studies and debates that had as their object of investigation changes and social phenomena to which only philosophy could give meaning to the contemporary existential climate. One of the many concerns of the scholar is the concept of social bioethics. We believe that this approach to the problems of life ethics was established by the bioethicist out of the desire and concern for future generations, to have a methodological tool that would evaluate the nature and moral perspective of new processes and social changes, so as not to be vulnerable or unprepared for the future.
