Rezumat

The classification of the world‟s financial centers is considered in the article, the typology of the European Union financial centers is given. The characteristic of the global financial centers of the EU is presented. The changes in the ranking of global financial centers are found out. Internal and external factors worsening the competitive position of the EU financial centers and reducing the level of international competitiveness of European regional financial market are defined.
