The problem reflected in this article is how to teach children to make an independent decision in different life’s situations. From the author’s point of view, it would help pupils to pass to an active position in finding solutions, instead of putting up a resistance in solving a problem. And, as a result, the development of these skills would contribute to a good perception of the problem and pupils would see it as a task, that supposes searching and finding the optimal solutions of the challenge. This article proposes some methods used to develop these skills. It brings concrete examples of children’s activities in the section ―How to solve problems‖. The article determines children’s level in solving different types of problems and it suggests some criteria of evaluation. |
