Over the last decade, permanent learning has occupied a central position in the policy agenda of the European cooperation in education and training. Adult education was recognized as an important component of permanent learning. Of adult learning opportunities are essential for ensuring social and economic progress, but also for individual personal development. Adult education is closely linked to the responses in terms of enhancing civic participation, improving health and individual existence. Public and private benefits of adult education and training include opportunities for employment and job quality. Adult education is a less developed disciplinary field in all sciences. Education theorists have focused more on the development of methodological and explanatory mechanisms for educating the child, being on the rise, in training and requiring support and assisting in its development. |
