Rezumat

The article talks about the expediency of using a communicative approach in the organization of teaching speaking in the lessons of the Gagauz language and literature in primary school. The priority methods and technologies of interactive learning for the formation of communicative competence are indicated. Variants of speech models and clichés in the Gagauz language for students in grades 1-4 of the primary level are proposed. Also, emphasis is placed on the implementation of integrated, thematic, situational, interactive approaches. The experimental nature and testing of innovations in educational institutions of the ATU Gagauzia is noted. The main goals and expected products of the implementation of the communicative approach are indicated.
