Sexual offenses remain a „headache” for the judicial system and for society itself. The Caracal case (2019) remains a conclusive example of the inability of specialists to get involved and be professionals. Starting from this case, particularly important for the state's security, but not strictly its own, we built a psychological tool for identifying, measuring and evaluating the fantasies of sex offenders, the Sexual Phantasm Assessment Questionnaire (CEFS). It was applied in 6 penitentiaries from 4 regions of Romania. 82 sex offenders convicted of rape and attempted rape participated in the study. Psychological statistics are relevant, with Cronbach's Alpha ranging between 0.91 and 0.40. We believe that the difficulty of disseminating scientific results in the field of sexuality is explained by the call for polymorphism both in the judicial system and in society. The reluctance is and can be manipulated by the followers of some extremist nationalist parties, as a consequence of functional illiteracy. According to Pornhub statistics, Romanians are regular consumers of pornography (Leș, 2020). Based on these dynamic psycho-social realities, CEFS is proposed as a psychological tool that is useful to judges (qualitative indi-vidualization of punishment), prosecutors, lawyers, psychiatrists (psychiatric forensic expertise), psychologists, psychotherapists, etc.
