Rezumat

In the last years in the Republic of Moldova a so called phenomenon “brain drain” knew a great development. On the one side it referes to people with an academical background, on the other side it involves young people that wanted to escape from their original country, even though they are children yet. An example in this way is Romania – country that attract the main part of moldavian “brain”, politics in this problem have been taken more seriously especially after Romanian integration in Europenean Union. No doubt, there are many countries that give the possibility for moldavian citizens of studying abroad at different levels, but most of them choose Romania. In this case the reasons are obvious, first of all because Romania is near the Republic of Moldova, both countries speak the same language and here we can mention the high number of scholarships proposed each year by the romanian government. In this way of things we manage to research moldavian student's life style in Romania. Using sociological methodology we have determined the reasons of studying in this country, their plans for the future, opinions about the Republic of Moldova's situation (meaning economical and social life) and concerning romanian education standard. According to the facts resulted from this research, we can observe wich are the main interests of moldavian students, as well as their chances to work legal in a neighbour country. However, as long as Romania is able to increase the number of scholarships for moldavian students, it is clearly that people will size the opportunity in spite of moldavian government's attitude vis-à-vis romanian education politics.
