The images of the Holocaust in Soviet press, is not a topic which is frequently reflected upon and discussed in the Moldovan academia. Moreover, even the study of the broader subject of the Holocaust in the former Soviet territories it is making its first steps in our country. In the meantime, in the West, scholarly work produced valuable work on the Soviet mass-media. Yet, despite these contributions, there is still much work to be done when analyzing the multiple aspects of the imagery of the Holocaust circulated in the Soviet space. |
