Rezumat

The banking-financial system of Republic of Moldova is currently facing problems largely determined by internal factors. Certainly, what can not be excluded are such realities as export reduction to Russia, as result of embargoes imposed by this country, the drop in remittances, etc. However, the main causes, which led to the aggravation of the banking- financial situation stem from the leading politics in this domain during the last few years. For a real acceleration of reorganization of this sphere and stabilization of negative operations which took place previously it is needed to study and utilize european and international practices which proved their efficiency during the crisis years. It is required for this process to commence through the improvement of the legislative framework by the national authorities from this sphere with the purpose to enhance the situation in the banking financial sector and to change it into a transparent, solid and competitive system.
