HIP dislocation is a consequence of dysplasia and can occursooner or later after birth, due to a dysplastic acetabulum and keeping the thighs in adduction or placing the body weight on femoral head. The theory of stopping the development of the hip joint shows that coxo-femoral dysplasia is the consequence of a developmental arrest of region at a certain point in intrauterine life that may be aggravated by various factors such as: flexion position and external rotation a thighs during intrauterine life or various postnatal factors. This is the most accepted theory. |
