Thousands of works have been written to teach grammar rules. Those who prepared these works used various methods to ensure that the topics remain in the mind, arouse interest in the lesson and make the student focus on the subject. One of these methods is poetic expression. As it is known, poetry has a unique harmony to keep in mind. The poetic works were written for the purpose of easy memorization of grammatical subjects, their repetition and the introduction of innovations in teaching. This study focuses on Vassaf Abdullah Efendi's poetic work called İrşâd-ı Ezkiyâ, consisting of 1478 couplets, which deals with Arabic grammar |
