In the age of globalization teaching intercultural communication has become an important issue of modern curriculum that comes to help students to break all the stereotypes and to overcome misunderstanding. This work explores the skills, the techniques and the exercises that can be applied while teaching English in order to provide students with valuable information regarding culture. A study of different cultures and civilization will lead to a successful intercultural communication. Teaching intercultural communication can be regarded as teaching one how to overcome communication barriers. This article highlights the importance of teaching communication in a foreign language based on certain models of intercultural communication. |
