Rezumat

The article addresses the specificity of the therapeutic work with child victims of sexual abuse from the perspective of interference with developmental tasks, defensive processes triggered, and the consequences for children. Child sexual assertion by an adult also has implications for the child's ability to establish secure attachment relationships. The results of the study based on psychotherapy of psychoanalytical approach conducted with child victims of sexual abuse support the necessity to provide a therapeutic environment that provides adequate repairs and contribute to supporting the developmental mechanisms specific to the age of children. The understanding of childhood trauma resulting from sexual abuse has implications for studying, evaluating and choosing psychotherapeutic strategies.
