Rezumat

The re-evaluation of grave goods from a group of burials in the south-west of Purcari (raion Ștefan Vodă) shall be in the centre of new investigations, where aspects of technology, chronology and specific material studies are reconsidered. In the paper, we briefly would like to point out technological aspects like metallurgical markers and highlight the remarkable preservation of a textile that was attached to the metal dagger from barrow 1, grave 21. Furthermore, a chronological framework of the Usatovo burials from Purcari shall be considererd. In order to gain a deeper understanding of the Purcari burials and the technological and chronological dimension of the grave goods, we would like to suggest further material studies of the metal artefacts, beads and ceramics. The paper sums up a status quo of the insights that we could gain so far and hints at new possibilities of archaeological science.
