Attention is drawn to the increased rates of morbidity and mortality in these complications, describing some diagnostic difficulties and treatment options. The authors conclude that each of the potential complications of esophageal atresia is a significant problem and a challenge in the management of this serious malformation in children, requiring the development of new prevention measures and treatment methods.
