The article considers the ethnic and cultural situation in Bulgaria XVIII century. During this time Bulgaria was under the rule of the Ottoman Empire. Socio-economic crisis in the Empire in the XVIII century worsened the status of Bulgarians and Gagauz. This was one of the reasons for migration movement, which resulted in the emergence of "Transdanubia settlers" on the territory of Bessarabia |
